Child's Fair Isle Yoke Sweater

Here's Daisy in her new Fair Isle Yoke Sweater! I used Dale of Norway Heilo on 3.5mm needles, and made very few changes to the pattern. I added a bit of color pattern above the hem ribbing, but that's it. This is perhaps my favorite EZ pattern.

Armenian-knit Hat ala Meg and Joyce

I'm probably stretching the boundaries of what really counts for posting on Zimmermania, but I wanted to share a finished project from Camp 2 and encourage you all to take a look at Meg and Joyce's Armenian Knitting book.

My First Baby Surprise Jacket

I just finished my first Baby Surprise Jacket and now can join the throngs who say, "ONE is not enough!" This was such an enjoyable project. I used Meg's Baby Surprise DVD and can heartily recommend it. There are a few variations on the DVD that I am anxious to try out in the future. My next one will have a collar on it.

More BSJs

I've become a huge fan of the BSJ. I love to knit them, and I've done many! Here are a few that I've recently finished (well, except for the buttons). The larger one is Sirdar Denim DK, the smaller is from Noro's Kureyon Sock Yarn - love the stripes!

Buttoned Baby Surprise Jackets

I think the perfect button is just as important as the perfect yarn.

Made of Araucania Atacama a very soft yarn it needed soft bunny buttons.

Made of Elsebeth Lavold Cable Cotton needed organic looking rustic metal buttons.

I may yet sort these posts ... apologies!

I've become addicted to the EZ baby patterns: this is the first BSJ I did.

I'm about to start the Adult Suprise jacket and would welcome words of encouragement, and wisdom!
